Adagio Con ny Constantia (MM = 50 is enough, don’t be a Vivace prat)
Eb Bb F C Gb D Ab Eb Bb F C Gb D Ab etc (do the second octave and jump to the third octave) Eb Bb F C Gb D Ab Eb B F C Gb C F B Eb Ab Db Gb Cb F bb Eb Ab etc (until you have to turn around again at the bottom notes, going back to the first Eb)

Composer’s note :
1. played with horrid expression, lots of whinning and sleepy eyes
2. if your fingers don’t want to obey you, bite them
3. if your sound doesn’t come out on the top notes, put your flute away and sing it at the top of your voice to immitate high registers in flute
4. if your mind doesn’t want to do the piece, put your flute down, go out and have coffee with your friends. shopping. anything!!!
