Empat Penyuling

Yippee… our Flute Quartet went into the final round of Woodwind Chamber Music Competition in RNCM last week!! Even though we did not win the Trevor Wye Woodwind Prize, but we’re really happy to be in the final, competing with three other woodwind groups which contains Postgrads students. We’re the only Undergrads group, cool!!!!

The reason why we join this competition was only for getting mark for our Chamber Group Project Course. It was a compulsory course in our 3rd Year; and if we do this competition, we dont have to do the end of year chamber recital anymore. And wow, we went to the final round and got good mark for our course.

The programme was a four-movements Flute Quartet by Eugene Bozza "Jour d’Ete a la Montagne" and three-movements Quator for Flute by Pierre Max Dubois. On the comment it was said that, "Well prepared!"

Ladies and gentleman, here is the Kitson Quartet (or Adam and The Bitches)….
